I’m Royanne Exline, artist, designer, and educator. As a surface pattern designer with a background in fine art and art history, I’m most inspired by my relationship with God and the enjoyment of the world He has made. I create artwork for everyday living. My designs are crafted to brighten the day of those who interact with them on fabric, stationary, and home goods.

I recently achieved success in the Surface Design Immersion course with Bonnie Christine. After completing the coursework, creating a collection of repeating patterns, and taking an extensive test covering the industry, licensing and Adobe Illustrator, I was awarded this certification. This was a huge accomplishment for me in the journey of learning and creating surface pattern designs. For more information on this certification, click here.
My husband and I travel the country in our RV. We live full time in our camper on the road with our 3 dogs. I love it! It's a great way to see the country, experience new places, and find inspiration for my art. I take photos, sketch and paint along the way and then work from those to create pattern collections.
